imma be so real, just read more books and look up more things(history, math, art, science) and you will understand so much more. The journey is worth the destination in this sense forreal. I love all the artists mentioned and the little references and Easter eggs within their bars and songs

Remember, rap is poetry. They teach whole classes on poetry. Most people just don’t get it on the first time they hear it. They sit down with it. They study it. They Dissect it. just like we study William Shakespeare and Emily, Dickinson and Robert Frost, we should be studying MF Doom Jay-Z Lupe Fiasco, mos def, Eminem and Talib Kweli. They’re doing the same thing just in a different time.

MFDOOM is pure poetry. he is a master of the english language. i dont know if anybody is better at rhyming. the songs aint pop hits they are a man taking english and twisting it at will. he will say one sentence with ten meanings and it will rhyme and somehow have a message while being goofy and monotone.
