I have eight children. I breast-fed every one of them. I never put them on a schedule. I never even tried. I nurse on demand, I contact napped, everything they tell you not to do I did.

Feeding on demand 🙌🏻🙌🏻 my nearly 11 month old still feeds round the clock, sometimes every 30 mins, sometimes every 3hr! So normal and natural for them, it’s more than just food 💜

Same I feel like everyone over complicates breastfeeding, your baby will let you know what they need when they need it and your body will provide 💪

I did this with all of my babies. my MIL got mad because I didnt use bottles. she wanted to feed my babies and I didnt want her near them.

Babies definitely need a routine in some shape or form, but babies don’t need a schedule for eating. They are hungry when they are hungry. Unless it’s absolutely necessary to force meals (like if they aren’t feeding well) but other than that, this makes perfect sense.

I did this with my baby too, they were telling me to wake her up for feeds every 2-3 hours but sometimes she’s sleep 4-5 hours between feeds and I’d just allow it

Did that with both of my kids. Fed them when they were hungry till they were full. One became a USMC and earns over 6 figures a year, wife stays home, had 3 kids, the other became a veterinarian and rescues all animals.
