𝑹𝒆𝒎𝒊𝒆𝒍𝒍𝒆 𝑫𝒂𝒏 :
This is sincerely simple to deal with, don't give them a reaction at first, and start making the conversation awkward. Give them a simple pause, then talk, not about the person, but about what they said about you. Being Silent, fighting back, or laughing it off will give the same result. Don't show any emotions within the words they said. Next is talking to them and standing your ground, an example like: "Hey I found your joke very disrespectful, I don't want you to do it again." then they'll come back with "Chill it's just a joke" you better say back "Yeah, I know, and I'm requesting you to not do it again." Standing your ground and in the same subject will steady your mind no matter what they try to take hold of you. Third is Setting Boundaries, if you make a boundary, then actually commit to doing in instead of setting it aside. Like: "If you keep screaming by trying to prove me wrong, then I'll leave and we'll talk about this again if you stop this attitude." You seemingly shift the limits to the person. You just have to take the Boundary seriously and Maximize how you deal it. Act what you say, is what a true boundary is. It's not that hard.
