I'm sorry I'm gonna sound like a chud but I relate to Hajime SO much 😭. And I'm sure a lot for people do as well. Because imagine seeing people excell in something so amazingly while you can't be talented no matter how hard you try. It's a feeling of defeat and it's the fact that you can't do anything about it. I know Hajime has shown that he's been able to form hope, but I'm talking about rsvc Hajime. Because he knows how average and inferior he is compared to the ultimates while also desperately wanting to be born differently due to his talentless standing. He wanted to stand out from other people and belong in a group that isn't constantly looked down upon because of the hierarchy that's been created; he wanted to be able to be proud of himself instead of seeing someone who can't shine like the others. And when you're put in a world where talent is everything, of course you would do anything to change yourself even if that means your entire identity. But doesn't that sound familiar? For us, we constantly try to look better so we can look socially acceptable to others and okay in their eyes; we work hard to the point we forget the reason we even started in the first place. Hajime is such a good representation of how the world changes the kind of people we are just because we want to be approved by the majority. And we fail to notice our own attributes that are unique in its own way because we rely on what society thinks is superior.
