@awesomeframers: How do you inspect connections when the ceiling is already sealed? We tried something different on this build: sheathing the bottom of the ceiling joists with Zip and taping it. It ties the wall air barrier straight into the ceiling plane, creates an airtight boundary right above us, and leaves room for blown-in insulation with a vented attic. The catch? The inspector can’t see the rafter-to-top-plate connections from below. Quick fix: Hopped up top, shot a 2-minute walkthrough video inside @CompanyCam , earmarked the framing details, and generated a clean report to send directly to the building inspector.
