You can’t assume a 50% winrate on 100k evals as the drawdown is half of the profit target. On 50ks, which have higher expected value due to the proportion of drawdown to pt, the actual passrate with no edge is around 28%, and considering this on top of the payout and consistency rules firms have leaves your ev negative or zero in the long run. Prop firms hire data scientists and statisticians to create their rules, they don’t just have “money glitches” like these
