When my oldest daughter was in her last year of high school she got into trouble at school for something. It wasn’t major, but she was sitting in a conference room on the phone with her father and the SRO came in and told her to get off the phone she told the officer I’m on the phone with my father. Her dad asked to talk to the officer in the next thing we heard was our daughter screaming. He called me. I went straight up to the school. I found my daughter in the office sitting on the couch, crying with red marks on her wrist, her arms and her leg legs. The SRO had grabbed her, thrown her from the chair, thrown her over a couch and handcuffed her for not going back to class. I threw a fit. I took my daughter home. We consulted a lawyer when she decided to go back to school two days later the SRO had her arrest arrested for assault. We had to fight this in court. Cops should not be in schools.
