outdoorsy things to do in flagstaff (september edition) 🌲👇🏼 there’s always so much to do in arizona’s mountain town, but here’s some ideas specific to the end of summer/ beginning of fall (ad) 🥾hikes •fatmans loop trail •sycamore falls •bear jaw-abineau trail •humphreys peak (perfect time) 🏕️ camping •wing mountain dispersed •bonito campground developed •fort tuthill campground developed •schultz pass road dispersed 🚠 activities •ride the snowbowl scenic gondola •drive snowbowl road •visit one of the 3 national monuments •walk around buffalo park •fish at lake mary 🌻 flowers during wildflower season •i spotted lupines & indian paintbrush off dirt roads/ trails off snowbowl road •sunflowers in fort valley off the I-80, schultz pass road & the road into sunset crater 🧀 food •best outdoors!!! grilled cheese & tomato soup at the end of the day is >>> i may not have realized before, but the butter you choose matters!!! @redbarncreameryofficial ‘s butter is made with 84% butterfat (made in the US) as opposed to the common 80%, which means it contains less water & has a richer flavor. my friends literally noticed the better taste! 🧈 - @danielleoutdoors_
