The paradox of unanimity is interesting especially in contrast to the judicial system and how juries are supposed to reach a unanimous verdict

Taking psychology classes in college at age 21, and learning things like this COMPLETELY rewired my brain. We learned about social psychology, how cults form, about logical fallacies, the placebo effect, cognitive dissonance, negativity/ noteworthy bias, etc. Learning all of this so young completely changed my life and how I think. The number of times per day I could say “well actually that’s not true” or “that’s actually not how that works”, instead I just keep my mouth shut.

The last one is simply untrue. Price is a direct reflection of value, and value reflects how important something is to people. That value might be purely subjective, but that doesn’t make it any less valuable. Value and price become decoupled when pricing is distorted by violence, deceit, or a lack of competition, such as through government regulation, unions, cartels, or monopolies.

Meno’s paradox reminds me of the idea of conscious vs unconscious competence. You start in unconscious where you literally don’t even know how incompetent you are. Once you begin to learn, you then move into conscious incompetence where you are aware of what you don’t know. Eventually you gain more competence. But you start off not knowing what you don’t know.

Cus the brain remembers negative input far more thouroughly and vividly than positive, due to physichs, the innate phenomen of having/getting to learn from errors and so on..
