Yep I’m 40 years old and still feel like the girl that was bullied in high school it stays with you for life…I’m homeschooling my son and he loves it

I'm gonna homeschool until my kids are 8. then they have the choice. I'm pretty sure she'll choose home schooling. who wants to be told when they can use the bathroom or that they can't eat when they're hungry

I homeschool my daughter here in the Netherlands. Right now they try to stop homeschooling at all. Make it illegal. But I will keep homeschooling her. Even if it means I have to move to a different country

People worry a lot about the bullying factor. All the homeschool kids I know handle real world situations just fine. I think we quickly forget that we want a world of better equipped, better mannered, more upstanding people. One where the “bullies” are few.

My oldest is 10 and has more skills under her belt than I did when I graduated high school. She is a chef, artist, computer programmer and a writer. I'm excited to see what she does and continues to learn.

Love this! I hated public school. But for some reason I got a teaching degree thinking “I can help it be better for students who were like me” taught for 5 years. What I was exposed to was nothing close to what kids are doing and exposing each other to now. Quit after my third was born and have been homeschooling for 3 years now. I absolutely love it and I’m so grateful I felt the conviction to homeschool my kids

My husband is an entrepreneur. He’s incredibly intelligent, creative, ambitious, humble, and uplifting of other people. I have my own things I can teach, and things I’m great at too… but I DEFINITELY want my future kids learning from my husband.

Yes thank u for speaking on this.. As a FTM I’m having a struggle with sending my kid to school or homeschool. I know how corrupt the school system is but idk if I can handle homeschool for 16 yrs

My kids were in private school for 4 years and begged me to homeschool them. I pulled them out a couple weeks ago and it’s been the best!!! And I’m thankful they went to regular school first so they knew how much they’d like homeschooling and don’t have to wonder what regular school is like!

I homeschool but give my children the option to go to public school every year. i never want to keep them where they don't want to be, every child is different, and its a lot of work for something unwanted. I now have middle and high schoolers and they still are homeschooled.

Homeschooling is great for creative thinking and startup ideas. The issues arise when its time to actually commit and run a business from 9-5. The protection from bullying etc mismanages the reality of the harsh environment of the business world and ill equips for the social skills needed to navigate a real environment. #learnedthehardway
