@sam.forstag: I've worked a thousand hours of overtime in one fire season and still barely gotten by. I've worked three jobs at a time and still come up short at the end of the month. Too many Montanans know exactly what that feels like. All across western Montana, we're breaking our backs just to keep a roof over our head, while politicians from both parties bend the knee to their corporate donors. The national media might call Montana the new home for the ultra-rich–but the rest of us, the people who actually make this place work— are getting priced out of the towns we love. That's not by chance. It's greed burning out of control. And I can tell you from experience, you don’t put out a fire with wishful thinking. You do it through long shifts, hard work, and lots of people coming together to make it happen. I spent years jumping out of planes into wildfires and working for weeks at a time to stop emergencies. Now, I’m ready to go to Congress and stop the crisis of corruption threatening Montanans’ livelihoods. I'm proud to have Democrats and Republicans standing with me to get it done. Our new ad is up across western Montana. Give it a watch, share it, sign up to volunteer, and if you can, chip in at the link in my bio to help us keep it on the air. The only way we make Congress work for all of us is by sending a working person to Congress. Let’s win this, friends.
