@crmnallyobsessed: Police have arrested four suspects in connection with the July 4 Chelan Hills Fire. In July, a wildfire broke out, causing over $6 million in damage, injuring six firefighters and killing 69-year-old Robert Lister. At the time of the fire, Douglas County, Washington, was under a burn ban, prohibiting fireworks and any sort of open burning. On September 2, police arrested 18-year-old Michael Yakimov. Investigators dubbed him as the “primary suspect” and charged him with first-degree manslaughter, arson and malicious mischief, as well as six counts of third-degree assault for each of the firefighters injured in the wildfire. He pleaded not guilty to the charges. Police say video evidence from the night of the fire shows Yakimov and friends shooting fireworks from the back of a moving car and even striking passing vehicles. On September 17, officers arrested Yakimov’s friends, 18-year-old Valentin Tabunscic, 19-year-old Mark Okhrimchik and 19-year-old Julian Mikityuk. The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office stated that it is pushing for all suspects to be charged with the same nine offenses as Yakimov. Police also say there are two outstanding suspects in this investigation. They are believed to be the final two people involved. #TrueCrime #Wildfire #Washington
