Broke up after 9 years, I left the next morning, haven’t seen him since, only ‘spoke’ to him through the property manager of the apartment about when I’d go back for my stuff. It’s funny that the one that does the breaking up is often the one who doesn’t leave the other alone…..

Personally i disagree, had one breakup where we went no contact at all, 8 years ago, and i still feel chest pain whenever i think of him.. i know i moved on but its like parts of me stayed with him. didnt happen with other breakups where we kept talking afterwards and slowly got out of each others lives
