i was the last one to leave that hospital room after my grandpa had passed away. my mom had to tell me it’s time to go and held my hand to be able to get out of that room. i couldn’t leave.

I still see my mom dead body, I remember how much I was shaking, I remember my heart was going a mile a minute, the yellow light ,the crochet blanket, my brother and sister kissing her forehead, my aunty asking me who had been doing her hair and I said she started a few months ago... I still smell that room.... for a year after she died all i saw when I closed my eyes was my mom's body burning cuz she wanted to be cremated... how cold that metal must have been. I didnt even see the process with my own eyes 😔 and it still haunted me but I was losing my mind cuz it wasnt when I was sleep, it was while I was awake and it didnt matter what I was doing everytime I blinked thats what I saw
