A 76-year-old woman is alleging that she has been subjected to repeated physical and verbal abuse by her 45-year-old son at their Avocat home. Ramdaye Coodie claims her son, Stephen Coodie, also known as “Menan”, has been beating, cursing and otherwise abusing her for the past two years. The alleged abuse reportedly began following the death of her husband, Stephen’s father, on Christmas Day four years ago. The elderly woman is now seeking help as concerns grow over her safety in the home.
