Dobermans are prone to ear infections. It’s actually smart to crop their ears. And they also chew the hell out of their tails. So my red Doberman is cropped and docked and happy/healthy!

In New Zealand that’s exactly how a Doberman looks? It’s not legal here to mutilate your dogs, so they all have ears and tails that are normal. It’s absolutely bizarre to me that mutilation for aesthetic reasons is legal in other countries.
