Pack just the filling in the container and put the bread in a baggie. He puts down a slice on top of the container, turns it over, puts on the other slice, boom, no soggy.

if you're worried about moisture, I'd suggest you stop putting salt on the wet veggies (cucumber and tomatoes) because the salt draws their liquid out.

I'm forever obsessed with these sandwiches. I'd make one for myself but I just know if I buy all the ingredients I'll make it once, love it but then never make it again and the ingredients will just go bad in my fridge.

you should try recreating the mediterranean panera sandwich for him lmao i love it . i veganize it now but i used to get it normal and SO YUM. it's just bread with hummus, mixed greens, cucumber, pepper, onion, feta cheese, and i put greek dressing on it. that'd be a pretty dry veggie packed sandwich and he could put the dressing on himself?

Okay I know this sounds crazy but you should add thousand island dressing. Wegmans has a veggie crunch sandwich with it and it’s so so good.
