Man this happened to us. They brought 2 engineers in and both agreed they screwed up. Took 1.5 yrs of fighting, but they bought the house back and built us a new one. Our walls were 2 inches off the ground and our boys would push hot wheels to each other under the walls between the bedroom and dining room. They were disappointed the new house didn’t come with that feature 🙄

I sell and flip a lot of homes. I’ve rarely ever walked a home where it’s cracked through porcelain tile like that, and it’s never good. This is more than cosmetic. The brick could* be cosmetic, the tile is not.

call some other company. they will hopefully fix the issue and you can claim money back on insurance/warranty for the building if the other company can prove it unsafe and you are eligable.
