Coffee is such a huge part of corporate office culture. I genuinely do not see why bringing in a coffee is “unprofessional,” so long as you don’t show up late to the interview with the coffee.

"the interview should be the most important thing of the day." maybe, before the job market was FLOODED with ghost positions that will interview you and you'll never hear back from. Now the process of getting a job is a full time job, and yes, you deserve a coffee to get through it.
