Jesus asked His followers to be a light in the darkness. Look around, this world is in darkness EVERYDAY! How can you be a light? This means when the world around you is rocked and worried, you have peace! Your peace is so still, it's loud!!! But what if you feel like you have Jesus but not that type of peace that allows you to be content in all situations, even on a death bed. Spend More Time getting to know Jesus. Pray that He helps your unbelief. The belief that this life is just a small bit of eternity and all who TRULY believe in Jesus will experience eternal life in heaven. If we focus NOW on heavenly things, the earthly things don't hold much weight in our lives. True Belief and True Love go hand and hand. Perfect Love casts out all fear. Jesus is perfect love!! Is God a part of your life or is He EVERYTHING in your life? When He is everything in your life, you will experience the abundant life Jesus promised. 🙏 Don't get comfortable, keep pushing. Don't treat God like an idea, live everyday like you are about to stand face to face with Him the next. It's hard, I know because we have so many distractions all around us! Would it be easier 50 years ago? Sure, of course. So not impossible then? Just means you have to try harder to make the time for God. Jesus didn't just say "follow me". He said PICK UP YOUR CROSS AND FOLLOW ME. Last time I checked, the cross never represented easy... It represented sacrifice.
