We have a zoo membership so getting in is "free" and I still rarely leave without spending $100. Its insane. And sad because a drink used to be $3 like maybe 10 years ago. Now its $10.

Paying for every activity within the farm is crazy. I get paying for the bag, and food and drinks or whatever. But than having to pay for the tractor to get to the trees and to do a corn maze is crazy.

I think as a parent who isn't loaded you have to not have every experience sometimes which SUCKS. we almost never buy food on a day out, it's packed lunches. and we would ask if they rather do the maze or the tractor. it's really rubbish it has to be like that tho 😭

We just went apple picking in WI. $7.50/person (x3 cuz our youngest was free) for all the fall activities (tractor, cow train, corn pit, slides etc). Apple bags vary but we spent $24. Donuts & Cider $18. Lunch for boys on the way home $12. Total $78…we only have two small kids. We didn’t even eat lunch out as adults. 🫠

im so grateful that a pumpkin patch in my area is inclusive with the admission. its like $6 per person but that gets you in the door, tractor ride, corn maze, and farm animal viewing. apples, pumpkins, and donuts separate.
