Vanko attacking Tony twice in iron man 2 and performing so well allowed the media to finally criticise him for being a superhero, this allowed the government to try to intervene in superhero affairs because the superhero’s themselves were seen as fallible even if the actions they took were for the greater good thwy would also be seen as mistakes by the superhero’s based on the precedent set by vanko in iron man 2, the pressure from the media and the government on the avengers post ultron caused civil war which split the avengers and meant it was much easy for thanos to claim the mind stone and time stone because earths mightiest hero’s weren’t united to defend them meaning thanos won, Tony snapped his fingers to bring back all the people thanos snapped away and Tony died in the proccess, conclusion vanko killed tony 9 years after his own death leaving his child an orphan and his wife a widow, “you lose”

Fire edit. my fav antagonist 😭 he literally recreated Tony's best piece of technology by himself. unfortunately they made him too weak. Ivan's villain arc and his whole character was so cold.

Iron Man 2 got so much unnecessary hate, same with 3. People had far too many expectations and wanted more glorified villains and problems. These were such meaningful and well told stories that are so overlooked in the MCU.

Marvel was so creepy beforehand when we didn’t exactly know what type of world we were getting into, and I’m so glad that the DCU is following on that same path with lanterns, as there’s so much more to that universe. We’ve only uncovered three movies and one TV show. That includes blue Beetle, Superman, Supergirl, and lanterns
