Can we talk about how people from Osaka are also way nicer than Tokyo?

I was confused at Shibuya on halloween looking for my train and this super nice mma fighter came up to me & showed me the way all the way to the train track, he was (like all people I've talked to in Tokyo) super friendly & we ended up having a good chat

I had a moment that I thought was super funny, but felt bad for the lady at the same time. went up to a ticket desk and the lady saw us foreigners walking up eye rolled so hard swiped her hand down her face all visible to us, then when we got up to the desk she was super happy and pleasant. loved the duality of the moment

Not Tokyo, but I went to Kyoto today and was kinda shocked by how differently I was treated. I spoke polite Japanese, yet some staff were cold and rude to me while being all smiles with tourists speaking English. Maybe next time I’ll just stick to English lol...

If u come to Malaysia, u should try asking for help. I bet they even offer u to come and have a dinner with the families at home. and maybe u even can stay at their home for free and a free tour in the city 😂.. especially japanese, korean or any well known kind countries.

You got lucky, I think it was Shinjuku where the man told me to 'take the stairs', I then ended up the wrong side and he told me 'don't just go anywhere' and charged me to come back in 😩

Japanese is my other first language and I've lived in Japan since 1997. Somehow people can tell even when I'm in a foreign tourist area; I guess it's just body language, how I'm dressed, and such. I had a similar experience at the grocery store recently when I couldn't find the peanut butter, the staff member looked bothered because she was busy, so instead of showing me where it is, she just said, "Same place as the bread," and I was really relieved because I didn't want to be shown where it was. 😌

We nearly missed the Shinkansen bc of Tokyo station lol. We were so certain we were in the right spot bc it was the right platform number. 10 mins before leaving we had a bad feeling and asked someone and had to run lol

I think the second person you met was just really nice, I’ve never heard of someone going that far for directions.

This is so true😂… I landed in Haneda, phones dead, hands freezing, with no idea on how to connect the trains, and Uber was saying 30k😂 I finally found my way onto a train, now I have to find how to connect the next train & im lost… while dragging my two boxes, this older man walked up to me & said, “let me help you with that”, I almost cried😭he asked where I was headed, told him & he said we’d get on the same train but he’d get off before me… that kindness stuck with me till now cos he showed me everything I needed for the rest of my journey, step by step… wish I had exchanged contact with him tho, cos we had such a really good conversation.

went to japan 4 times already, been to many prefectures. realised the further away you go from tokyo, the kinder the people are 😭 went to a small store near lake yamanaka where an old lady was working, asked her for directions in japanese and she took her walking stick, stopped what she’s doing and walked me outside her store and gave me specific directions, even told me to take care and be safe. in tokyo they would just stare at me like 😠

#darahtinggi #hipertensi #viral #tekanandarahtinggi #fyp
