1. historically speaking black individuals do not hang themselves, even survivors of attempts confirmed that they never considered hanging due to the historical implications of hanging ancestors during slavery 2. psychologically/sociologically speaking women are MORE likely to commit suicide in ways that are "less work" for other individuals because subconsciously we do not want to be seen as burden even in death. this is why overdoses or SH in a tub are very common with women, vs shootings in men. taking both into consideration (not looking at the physics of how she could even get up with no stool/ladder and down without violate force to the neck from jumping/fall impact on the neck) she was very unlikely to have committed suicide like this.
