When Imam Ahmad affirms hadd this is him affirming Allah being seperate from creation and when he negates hadd this is him negating Allah being like creation for example saying Allah sight is like my sight or Allah hand is like my hand for this is what limits Allah. In simple terms the hadd being negated is that our knowledge is unable to encompass Allah
