i used to always vote king's row but recently I have gently started despising it, it is peak "shoot the tank" gameplay, the flank routes on 2nd point are outright God awful

they js take less time and i dont wanna spend 50minutes in a single game where the damn robot is walking up and down constantly or where a single point capture can take like 10minutes and then theres 2-5more

Dude idk why but I like payload so much, call me low rank but it was my favorite gamemode in tf2 aswell, as you said it takes less brainpower to play, and that’s just how I like it

yapping a bit but I'm honestly not sure how much of this is a design issue with these maps as much as it is a fundamental format issue. no one really had any issues with most hybrid or payload maps (except Havana) until the game went to 5v5. I honestly think 6v6 is the answer, flashpoint and push feel less hectic while still being pretty fast games or it being back and forth, and hybrid and payload feel a lot better with a second tank to help contest some of the tougher angles and chokes. I like flashpoint, I just don't like push because I don't like how quick the steamrolls are, and payload and hybrid are underrated in 6v6 imo
