My Aunt was “accidentally” cremated. She did not want to be cremated, so her family (her children, my cousins) sued the funeral home. They lost. 😡

Everybody keeps saying, “Sue them.” But honestly, there is no amount of money that could ever make up for a mistake like this—losing my deceased mother’s body. To me, it’s almost like losing a loved one all over again. No amount of money could bring her back or erase that pain. Even if the person responsible were punished to the fullest extent of the law, it still wouldn’t give me back what was lost. Some losses simply cannot be compensated for with money.

Sad I know how they feel as my ex had my son cremated before I could say goodbye. They expected me to pay for half of the funeral expenses. I said H no. Then he took the ashes home and put them in a dog house. He said I could come to visit his remains. Control no thank you I got some ashes to take home without him knowing.

Detroit for some reason is full of these incidents. Remember there were two funeral homes where they found the bodies of newborn babies in ceiling/attack? It’s hard to even believe.
