Teens will likely experiment with alcohol just like dating…in many countries teens can legally drink at 16 and they don’t have the same issues we do in the US so this one may be worth thinking about

My take on the drugs is they are going to do it regardless. Personally if I have kids and find out they smoked grass at a friends house I’ll lose my mind bc where tf did your friend get it?? But if you continuously keep doing it I’d STRONGLY advise my kid not to but if you’re going to do it where ik where you are rather than being lost and too scared of getting in trouble to call for help. Not vaping tho no vapes no nicotine but that’s just my take on it as someone who grew up with parents like that it made it less of a taboo “oh let me do it bc they said not to” it makes it like oh… it’s not a big deal and subconsciously that makes kids not even want to do it that much

If students aren’t able to have phones teachers shouldn’t either. They love to preach that phones are bad for the students and learning well why won’t you lead by example. You scrolling and taking personal calls is no different than us going on phones in class.

First off the vaping, and smoking it was 18 when I was a kid it’s 21 since my kids were born, but I still think that if they do it they do it. Alcohol is a very extreme no-no.

I agree with most!! I also think kids should be able to express themselves through their hair and be able to dye it, cut it however they want if they are at least 14, also piercings I think they should be allowed at the age of 16, as long as it’s nothing crazy, and tattoos should wait until 18 plus bc most ppl end up regretting their tats that they got at a young age, but self expression is very important….

as a high schooler, high schoolers are smoking in not safe ways so yes it is safer if parent know but it’s NOT okay for a parent to condone it and teach them that it’s not good for them but at the end of the day they still gon do it but it’s good for us to know we have a safe family around us so if we want to stop we know we can get the help we need
