Would you put the $500k worth of schd in a personal brokerage account or a Roth IRA? Assuming you want to retire early (late 40s/early50s) and live on the dividends.

I started buying it in my Roth IRA about 2 yrs ago. I only have about 150 shares. I’m 41 so I won’t have a ton in my Roth IRA. I have maxed it each of the 3 yrs I’ve had it and plan to max it every year. Hopefully I’ll have 500k in 20ish years in it. I mostly focus on VOO and QQQM. I’ll probably buy $1k worth of SCHD for now/yr. Plan to back off on QQQM as yrs go on. Great content!

For a 22 year old is dividend investing worth considering or is VOO or QQQM better for that age group?

So just curious. Is it better to have $500,000 in a Schwab dividend fund or a Schwab S&P 500 fund. Would it be better to have half of each or strictly go for the income generation in retirement
