Lmao instacart is a joke and so is spark and Uber Eats as well they think a dollar a mile is okay absolutely not gas is way to high for that crap and they don’t put into consideration your time and labor you are putting into doing that order crazy

Do not except a no tip, I never do. Otherwise you don’t get paid much, the tip is what does it. Batch pay is awful

Yeah, it’s been pretty bad. I’ve been doing this for almost 6 years. Almost 4000 orders after hand surgery. I didn’t make it back to platinum but this quarter I did and now they’re trying to say quality items made it where I don’t qualify for platinum they don’t understand sprouts truck doesn’t come till noon. When you get orders early in the morning they are out of stock on a lot of items the items Instacart recommends people don’t want they reject so from now on whatever Instacart recommends that’s what I’m getting the customer and then we’ll see what my rating is. They play too many games I’m telling you.

I'm super picky about my orders I accept. I'm not taking no tip orders or long distance miles (unless I'm going in that direction)

We always tip 20 percent at least and I can’t complain bc it always comes so quick and worth being lazy over going to the store or restaurant myself. People are cheap. If you’re gonna use the luxury app- pay the tip.

All of the gig apps take advantage of the independent contractors and customers. I’ve shopped and delivered for 3 years across 2 different apps. DD has recently decreased their base pay for shopping, checking out, driving to a customer’s home, and lugging all of the groceries to their doorstep…to $2. The mileage didn’t even matter. Granted, it was a regular customer who tips $30-$50. But the app shouldn’t subsidize a customer’s tip as part of their payment to me.

I wouldn't do it I do Door Dash and I don't move if it's not more than a $1 a mile and I only go less than 7 miles and if it's over 7 miles it needs to be $2 a mile because you still need to drive back and that adds up
