we have no debt, no credit cards but we have to use our savings every so often for emergencies. buy bulk in most grocery/personal items if it’s just you two it’s worth it!

im 21 and my bf is 20 we make a little over 3000 dollars a month combined paychecks at the moment we will make more in the near future. we do not have car payment because we decided to not buy off the lot. each paycheck we get paid every 2 weeks. we pay our wifi bill using credit card to keep building credit. we pay our credit card bill,electric bill and car insurance with our first paycheck of the month. since my bf is needing to put more money back recently I buy the groceries or we split the cost same as our bills. I make a two week meal plan and only get what we will use nothing more. whatever is left over from that paycheck goes to saving. 100 dollars goes to checking on whatever else we want or gas. second paycheck is only for rent we split the rent and the rest of the money goes to saving or potentially groceries if we ran out but usually we dont.
