you can file a claim with UPS even if you purchased the label theu ebay. you have to sign up for a UPS account with the same email as your ebay account. I have filed claims that way.

I recently shipped a large porcelain sculpture to Maryland and I had the buyer pay to have UPS pack the item and they didn’t put anywhere near enough packaging in there and it broke this piece of art that was a showcase item sitting in someone’s home for decades. They paid me back for the item and the shipping but not like the $150. I paid for custom packaging when that’s literally where they’re failed.

call back ebay support speak to different agent then ask for supervisor never speak with initial rep in this situation they are all reading of a card...ive been on ebay for 25 years...just got refunded for lost package a watch from ebay yesterday.

I think there’s a way to file a claim through ups via eBay. There is a YouTube video on it I’m pretty sure

I will not use UPS. I quit selling on Mercari because they default to UPS and if you try to pick another carrier it costs alot more. UPS lost to many packages for me.

I hear ya! I’ve filed 2 claims with the Better Business Bureau against EBay. I’ve won both times as long as I provided the documentation to BBB.

I tried to do a claim in June from ebay. I got my money back after 3 months and hours on call with different numbers from usps, I got my money back.
