I was trained, 2hrs left on the clock, thats when you start working on getting shut down. 7hrs left on the clock means 5hrs left to drive, 2hrs to find somewhere to park.

I went over my drive time by 41 seconds thankfully I was able to whip it into a tiny truck stop and shut down. I called my company's safety immediately and explained the situation and the guy kind chuckled and said yea you'll just get a call from us in a few days saying don't do that again. I haven't got a call. It's been over a week lol

Probably would have just drove on in??buddy I’m not working for free this ain’t a hobby for me 😆🤣. I will say though sometimes it sucks cause I ran out of time once for a company and whole truck shut down on me in an intersection and it was late at night and all of my dome lights were flashing dashboard telling me to pull over pull over pull over repeatedly like airplanes do when your too close to the deck
