@dariusryankadem: Here's the one thing I don't do when my toddler is agitated and I can feel a tantrum brewing. The biggest mistake is thinking he means what he's saying, so there's something you have to fix. That’s why you’ll try to reason him out of it, defend yourself, or demand an explanation. I'm asking him to let go of his frame and climb into mine. Instead, I stop dragging him into my reasoning world and I drop into his. Here's the most important part, I got it wrong to begin with. Remember I went straight for reasoning, defending myself. But the turning point was when I caught it fast. I felt it not landing and I switched instead of pushing harder. That's the real skill. It’s not about knowing the perfect thing to say, but rather noticing you're on the wrong path early and being willing to turn off it. the problem is no parent willing to take an advice from other parents thinking their own parenting methods, authority and claiming "I know the best" is absolute, speaking from experience growing up with these kind of parents it feels like you're the parent dealing with spoiled toddlers, thanks for your videos wish my parents could ask me and talk to me without being completely sure they know the best beatin all the time for speaking up
