My dad was a OTR driver and I remember his frustrations. Now, my youngest son is driving and he not handling the frustrations well. He is always being yelled at by dispatchers when he doesn’t make a drop appointment because it took too long to load the previous haul. I wish he could learn how to deal with all of it.

@ione and wells 🌈🐕🚛 non trucking people don't understand how different a real bathroom with running water is vs a *full* porta john is. they don't understand how we have to plan bathroom breaks around shippers/receivers. I'm glad I was born a man,I can't imagine how difficult it can get being a female trucker with having a unplanned visitor showing up every month at the worst possible time.
