had a school bus driver be inappropriate with a young girl..went to the police department and reported it. they refused to do anything more than "talk to the school about it" the school switched him to a different route. they said that he had worked for them for a long time.smh

This is 100% correct! My ex-husband broke my back in two places, it was reported, I met with the assistant district attorney, and they decided not to go forward with a criminal case. Unbelievable.

This!!! The number of ignorant people that have told me that if he raped you why haven’t you pressed charges?? Well I reported it. It’s been sitting under investigation for 2 years now. I don’t even get to speak to the prosecutor before he makes a decision. I’ve tried to do civil charges for harassment, stalking, dv, sa, and intent to inflict emotional harm….. WITH EXTENSIVE EVIDENCE, I can’t even find a lawyer that will look at evidence. The second I say DV and SA and harassment they say no. I LITERALLY CANT PRESS CHARGES AND IM ENRAGED ABOUT IT

Best we could get with my ex before he struck again in another single parent family was a mark on a child protection file PMCH person who may cause harm. He is now convicted but AFTER causing more harm.

You probably have already gone this route but just in case, have you gone to the attorney general for your state? They can review all of the cases and press the criminal charges if they see fit since your DA won’t.
