@coltenbarnaby: What I keep finding in this series is that the line between Christianity and socialism was never nearly as clean as people pretend it was. And honestly, some of the people who have shaped my own thinking most deeply on capitalism are not white European Marxists. They’re people from the Black radical tradition who understood that freedom has to mean more than formal legal status. You can abolish one structure of domination and still leave other structures intact.
