He wanted the tariffs to add to the treasury to steal. He didn’t care about the consequences. He’s not that intelligent. He may be smart on how to be a con man but he has no depth of thinking about international affairs and diplomacy. He doesn’t know where many countries are and surely isn’t interested in their culture
