@thetempleorder: The primary axiom of Hermetic philosophy, attributed to Hermes Trismegistus and outlined in The Kybalion, is the Principle of Mentalism. This foundational concept dictates that "The All is Mind; the Universe is Mental," asserting that consciousness—rather than physical substance—is the supreme, underlying reality of everything that exists. When Hermeticism states that "the mind is all," it implies that the entire manifest universe functions as a vast, living mental creation within the mind of a divine, supreme intelligence known as "THE ALL". Physical matter, energy, and life phenomena are not separate, solid entities, but are instead thought-forms vibrating within this universal matrix of infinite consciousness. On an individual level, this principle means that human consciousness acts as a miniature reflection of the universal mind, possessing the power to shape personal reality through focused thought, belief, and perception. Because mind precedes matter, mastering one's internal mental landscape allows a person to influence external conditions and consciously navigate the physical world. #Hermeticism #Mentalism #TheKybalion #HermesTrismegistus #Philosophy
