However, I highly recommend staying a little further in the town of Ollantaytambo! This town is rich with its own history and ruins & deserves at least one travel day to explore. Besides, if you stay in Ollantaytambo, you get to ride the Inca Rail, a train that takes you from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes through the most stunning Andean landscapes ⛰️ Not to mention, Hotel Pakaritampu is absolutely stunning! We arrived at night, so you can imagine what a treat it was to wake up to the insane views you see in this video 😍
