The ending (and the whole lab fight) really hit hard for me because throughout the movie, despite his faults, Bryan is always ready to help the people he comes across even when he’s seen enough to ‘know better’. It started as such a jokey character trait but hurt my heart by the end

I’m so sorry, I misspoke. It’s not the Predator in the maternity ward scene in Alien vs. Predator: Requiem. It’s the Predalien. The Predator would, of course, never do such a thing.

I REALLY loved the ending because it felt so right as “oh you did all of this work and it ended up not mattering at all” like it’s so tragic and bleak that it winds up at cathartic again. AND the Umbrella Corp scientists’ stupidity—that’s how they got in this mess in the first place! Through human error and dumb mistakes! And everyone, EVERYONE loses for it, which I find fitting and satisfying.

I knew it wasn’t gonna be a happy ending, and the ending is perfect for the movie…..but I’m so sad for Bryan and I’ve been thinking about him since Thursday 😭😭😭

I love Leon, but it was kind of refreshing to see the story of someone who is just a victim of the outbreak! It’s sad how it ends but that’s how it ends for like 90% of the people of raccoon city

This is one of those movies I went into blind, didn’t necessarily love (not a video-game-player), but have since not been able to stop thinking about because of the discourse, and your perspective just added a whole extra star to my rating! Love this take!

I thought in avp2 the Predator-Alien baby thing was a counterpoint to predator 2 where the Predator refuses to kill a woman because she’s pregnant.

I just watched it last night and I loved it! I was not expecting it to be so funny and I really enjoyed that they did the taboo things, the kid scene was amazing.

Funny enough I like the ending but not necessarily “the end”, like the literal final moments. The story had to end the way it did, but the eye zoom and cut to black felt just a bit too short to me, I would have loved to either see him leap at those helicopters in full ridiculousness or have him lit up by fire for something bleaker.
