I have this theory that most of us take these courses (i.e. Calc 3) too young. Imagine if it was standard for us to go to college for 2-3 years and then go work. Then at age ~35, go back to school for a couple years to take these kinds of courses. Our ability and desire to comprehend would be off the charts.

As a graduate engineer I passed calc 1 2 3 and 4 and difff equations……. I learned enough to pass and Retained zero. I love learning it now as an adult.

I hate calc 2 so far, why do they force us to memorize all the identities and formulas for the exam? I’m sure newton used his formula sheets it’s unfair!!!

My son is in AP Calc right now and will be majoring in engineering next year so I know there’s a lot of Calc in his future. Is it as scary and hard as it’s made out to be?
