I submitted a request through their official website to have these glasses replaced. Even though I altered the frames, do you think they would actually provide me with a new pair, as they indicated? The issue is that they want me to send in my old glasses; they won’t send the new ones until they’ve received the old ones. I’m worried that if I send them in, they might not send me the replacements.

3 weeks without updating. Not bricked. I turned off automatic updates a couple months ago. I’ll get an annoying message to do the security update. But it stops after a little while. Do not use automatic updates. Or update. 💯

Do you guys really wanna know why it doesn’t work it’s because people be tampering with the LED light so they record it doesn’t blink so people have been drilling a hole at the LED light to basically record without it and the thing is Meta has been rolling out an update where if the LED light is tampered with it will break your glasses 100% you can’t do anything about it

I've got a decent idea, why doesn't meta make you once a week or something, turn on your front camera and the glasses light will flash a special code (like pwm or Morse code or something) to confirm some creep hasn't disabled the light and then you'll be able to use the camera? And if you can't complete that then you'll loose camera functionality until you do complete that It could be done entirely on device too so not really a privacy concern Probably also add a feature to walk blind ppl through this process too

what's up got a question what brick them in the first place is it because you guys blocked or drilled out the the little light that's letting everyone know that you're recording if that's the case if that was the trigger then I got it a question what happens if you drop your glasses and it damages damages the the little light that no fault of yours people dropped her glasses all the time are they going to break your glasses because it got dropped or are they going to replace the glasses because you paid for a camera and they gain access and have all those features they can't just break it because one item is broke things break all the time

I seen somebody on YouTube that said they did the factory reset twice on their pair and it completely bricked after that wouldn’t do anything you know of anything like that happening
