Sharing my non-negotiable RED FLAGS when choosing a life partner. 🚩 (P.S. My husband and I are already married. He’s a good father and a great husband as well.) For me, these are non-negotiables: 1. Kapag hindi ka niya kayang ipaglaban kapag may issue kayo ng pamilya niya. Hindi ibig sabihin na lagi kang tama, pero dapat marunong siyang makinig, umintindi, at tumayo sa tabi mo lalo na kapag ikaw ang asawa niya. 2. Kapag kapag galit ay sumisigaw, nagmumura, nananakot, o nagwawala. For me, malaking red flag ang hindi marunong mag-control ng anger. Problems can be solved through communication, not intimidation. 3. Kapag mas gusto niyang kasama ang tropa kaysa sa’yo. Okay lang magkaroon ng sariling friends and time, pero kung mas excited siyang gumala at magpalipas ng oras with his friends kaysa makasama ka, that says a lot about his priorities. 4. Kapag hindi kayang tigilan o kontrolin ang bisyo. Alak, yosi, sugal, or any habit na nakakaapekto na sa sarili, relationship, finances, at future family life…BIG RED FLAG. 🚩 5. KAPAG TAMAD. Ito talaga 😭 Hindi naman kailangan maging perfect or mayaman, pero dapat masipag, responsible, at may initiative sa buhay. Because marriage is not just about love. It’s also about character, responsibility, respect, and the kind of partner you choose to build a life with.
