don’t get me wrong I grew up in a home like this yes a house is meant to be lived in and in no way were my parents lazy. but one thing I realized it caused me so much anxiety as an adult when things were laying around. Cluttered space leads to a cluttered mind. Now in my own home, I just clean as I go, and it just gets maintained. No way I mean this as judgement, but you never know what’s going to happen later so you might as well do it on the spot. washing one pot or 3 dishes is always easier than 10 pots and 10 dishes.

Great transformation! And yes, you live there, you use the space for its intended purpose…and you clean it. Not sure what the problem with that is!

Hear me out. What do you think about a second dishwasher? I have this same problem. I wish I had a larger kitchen I would add it in a heart beat. I feel like it would solve all my problems.

I think people forget we are supposed to live in our houses [Tears of joy] I went through a phase of that when everyone was making their houses “ sterile” and I realize the house is messy because I have kids that get to play, we shave a messy kitchen because we have food in our bellies, it all gets taken care of just maybe not right away and maybe we’re spending time with family that SHOULD come first. I love the realness and I love having a busy and happy house,we’re going to miss it one day

I dont trust people who's house never looks lived in... I would walk into ur house and literally ignore every mess there is and tell u how much of a mess my house is and just how much my kids dont listen
