thats not what those springs are for. they are meant to absorb vibrations created from combustion pulses in the engine.

I'm no mechanic but I've always wondered how clutch control works. I mean, the engine is running, car is in gear but you hold it slightly so that the car does not move forward nor roll back. controlling the acceleration well enough to not burn the clutch. if someone can showcase a video on how that works please.
