I feel like people don't realize that the line where discipline stops and where abuse begins is where the child stops learning. what exactly is your child supposed to learn from getting slapped across the face other than "my dad hits me". at that point it's no longer about the thing they did. they're not thinking about that. they're thinking about how they just got hit in the face. they're not learning, so that's not discipline.

A grown “man” should never slap a little girl across the face, with a little boy you’re raising them to be disciplined and tough to be a man, as a father you’re teaching her how a man should act and what she will allow a man to do to her when she’s older. Boys and girls should be raised differently because you’re wanting two different outcomes.
