The truth is revolution was messy and as with every other science, it was an experiment, but it was an experiment that was overwhelmingly successful. Everywhere it was implemented, socialism worked. It worked so well that even the bourgeoisie of the most powerful capitalist nations cowered in fear and gave in to social democratic reforms.
