One of my parents this week: I’m tired of the school calling me about my child. I’m thinking about pulling him because he’s been in trouble since school started. It’s ridiculous. Me: you are the parent. Do what you feel you need to do.

I love this . They don’t act like that at home . They don’t want you to have her number. You won’t be calling her . Teachers are sick of the parents not the children it’s not their fault.

The kid is struggling which is likely the behavior cause from frustration so your solution is throw him out for the week getting him further behind It would make more sense to ISS him and get an aide to work with him

Parents today are ridiculous. He shouldn't be allowed to come back to school unless the parent spends the whole day with him. If the parent cannot, then the kid cannot return.

Absolutely. Most of the time, it’s the environment outside of school causing the behavior in school. Unfortunately, administrators go soft on these behaviors and it’s the teachers and paras who have to take the brunt of it without support.

That’s a principal - working in law enforcement, people talk to me the same way. We’re in big trouble because people are getting more and more entitled to be wild.
