Iceland had 40 kiosks, NONE of them working. 3 hr line to get EES. Leaving Italy for US. Italy had kiosks, again NONE working. Completely disorganized. 2.5 hrs to get thru customs. This was Sept 1-18.

its a UK ETA not an eas you can use the app it takes 5 minutes and automatically adds it to your passport

The ETIAS is not rolling out til 2027. There are no current EU requirements for 2026 for US citizens. Always be sure to check each individual country’s official national websites 🙏🏻

I did it a few days ago from US TO Switzerland. Didn’t catch my connecting flight. You need at least 2 hours between connecting flights and that’s pushing it close.

I just flew into Madrid and had to do this. Luckily I landed early so the lines weren’t too bad but several machines were not working so it could definitely be bad.
